Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort
The Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort in Tabanan, Bali, is set to cease operations on July 31, following a decision by its owner, publicly listed developer MNC Land.
MNC Land, controlled by business tycoon Hary Tanoesoedibjo, reportedly plans to redevelop the land on which the Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort stands.
Pan Pacific Hotels Group began to manage the resort in April 2010. The group's senior vice president in charge of operations, Erik Anderouard, said in a press release on Wednesday, “We have enjoyed a mutually rewarding partnership with PT MNC Land Tbk and wish them every success for the future. Moving forward, we will be looking to capitalize on our extensive network of business contacts and brand equity to introduce more award-winning Pan Pacific and Parkroyal properties to our customers in Indonesia.”
Pan Pacific Nirwana Bali Resort general manager Guy Charles Owen declined to comment on the news after being contacted by The Jakarta Post. (kes)
